The need

Families in the congregation have real needs this season — warm coats, groceries, a table to gather around — but asking takes courage and giving stays uncoordinated. Churches need a dignified way to match a need with a willing hand.

What it does

Each church runs its own seasonal campaign. Leaders post a family's needs without sharing names, members choose an item and claim it so nothing doubles up, and it comes in by the drop-off date.

• Three seasons of giving: Christmas, Resurrection Sunday and Thanksgiving
• Claim an item so no one gives it twice
• Drop-off where and when the request says, then marked received
